The Paediatrician

ABOUT OUR PAEDIATRICIAN:

Dr. Andrea Passarella has been a paediatrician since 1991.
Dr. Passarella not only works in the hospitals and clinics of Veneto Region, but has also been a medical volunteer in the poorest countries of Africa for many years. Since 2007 he has been deputy chairman of the Rafiki Paediatricians for the non-profit association Africa. In addition to his social commitment, he also carries out medical-paediatric research work. He has published numerous scientific publications and is very often a speaker at the most important paediatric conferences. Dr. Passarella participated with great enthusiasm in our information project, whose scope is to dispel not only some of most frequent doubts of parents as regards their children’s first steps and shoes, but also a number of false myths!

THE “STEP BY STEP” PROJECT:

We know how attentive parents are to the needs of their children, above all their children’s first shoes and the well-being of their feet. That is why when the time comes to choose the first shoes for their child, mothers trust the advice of an expert. In most cases, this is their paediatrician. We at Falcotto have always been very attentive to the needs of mothers and children, and wish to help mothers make an informed choice when they buy their child’s first shoes. In 5 episodes, and with the help of Dr. Passarella’s experience, we will walk you step-by-step through the phases of foot development, from birth to the age of 3-4 years, including the basic motor stages, and some of the most common plantar development pathologies, also giving you more practical advice on how to choose your child’s first shoes.
