A fitness programme for mummy and baby.

It's something that all mom's long for: to get back into shape. During our pregnancy we saw that bump grow and our bodies change, and after the birth of our child our routine changed drastically, making us neglect ourselves a little.

Certainly life has changed, and raising our children takes up a great deal of our time, but we should not neglect ourselves. Getting back into shape will make you feel better and help you face the busy days ahead will renewed energy.

But what can we do?! A fitness program that includes baby, so that you don't have to worry about leaving your child with grandparents or a babysitter, but can take baby along with you, saving you time and trouble.

Children may also socialise with the other members and adapt to a new environment like the swimming pool or park.

Stroller fitness programmes are held indoors and outdoors and there are many lessons you can subscribe to in countries all over the world, including Italy.

A long walk every day in the park enjoying the colours of autumn while your child has the chance to be outdoors, or a 45-60 minute lesson, where each push of the stroller on the spot corresponds to a specific movement of the legs that exercise specific muscle areas.

If you choose these lessons, they include abdominal exercises when you can take you child out of the stroller and sit him on the mat next to you.

For those who prefer yoga there are courses where you can bring your children along, and where you learn fundamental postures such as asana (static posture), mudra (dynamic positions) and breathing that make your aware of the potential and limits of your body, giving you strength, fluidity and flexibility in time.

Your child is part of the exercises, or you can sit him or her next to you in a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere. This course is ideal for those who want to acquire harmony of body and mind together with their little one.

There is nothing better than enjoying yourself with your children, perhaps after a day at work.

The perfect choice are lessons for mothers with children aged 4-6 that last 30 to 45 minutes and include different dances that are sometimes combined: the most important thing is to be creative and have fun.

Simple, well-defined movements, with catchy music chosen especially with the children in mind because they are the future stars of these these courses. But Moms will also have fun with these high-energy fitness programmes!

A dip in the pool for Mummy and baby.

As an alternative, a fitness programme at the pool will help you tone legs while doing exercises to help your child familiarise with water.

Lessons include an abs, butt and thigh toning workout, and between exercises you do special exercises to help your child familiarize with water.
